The Xinfeng County, Jiangxi Province High-Tech Industrial Park Phase II Wastewater Treatment Plant and Supporting Pipe Network Project is a comprehensive infrastructure initiative designed to enhance sewage treatment capacity and improve water management in the region. The project includes the construction of a new wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 20,000 tonnes/day (20,000 m³/day) to serve industrial and domestic sewage from the high-tech park. The supporting pipe network involves the installation of 12,534 meters of HDPE pipes (3,734 meters for influent, 8,800 meters for effluent, and 4,200 meters for pressurized systems), alongside the rehabilitation of 1,026 meters of existing sewage pipes and 3,626 meters of rainwater pipes. Four sewage pumping stations (with capacities of 3,000 tonnes/day and 5,000 tonnes/day) and six water quality monitoring stations are also part of the project. Total investment amounts to RMB 189,186,100 yuan, comprising RMB 188,639,100 in fixed assets and RMB 547,000 in working capital, funded by government appropriations and special loans.
